"Rehab is back," says lead singer/MC Danny Boone. "Well… actually…," he says, "I never really went anywhere to be ‘back’! I guess the proper thing to say is that Rehab has finished its second Studio Album: Graffiti the World. It's been a long road and I'm tired!... But I guess now that it's all done, I can step away from it and see how it all falls together. Our album is a true mash-up. We combined everything good about every kind of music and came up with something new and very different. It's called Rehab Music."
Rehab first emerged into the Atlanta Music scene in the late 90’s. In 1999, Epic Records signed the band and released the critically acclaimed first LP Southern Discomfort(Epic 2000). The album spun off the top 15 Modern rock hit "It Don’t Matter" and scanned over 140 thousand units. This success allowed the band to kick off a 2 year tour supporting the Vans Warped Tour and bands like Kotton Mouth Kings and Linkin Park.
Three years later, Rehab is back on the music scene, sounding bigger and better than they ever did. "Rehab is more of a band now than a duo with a backup band or a Danny Boone project. If it wasn't for Mike Hartnett (guitar) Hano Leathers (bass) Foz (guitar) and Chris Hood (drums) I would probably never finish this album."
Graffiti The World was mostly penned by Danny Boone and Mike Hartnett, and partially produced and mixed by Billy Hume producer /Mix engineer (David Banner, Bone Crusher, Lil John, Ying Yang Twins). Additional production on this title were by Mike Hartnett, Danny Boone and Hano Leathers, Mixed by A List mix engineer Phil Tan (Neptunes, Snoop, Clipse, 112, Mariah Carey).
With a healthy physical and mental attitude and addiction free, Boone claims that after all the ups and downs in his life he has discovered that his only addiction in life is "Rehab" and his music.
